When organizing your purse or bag with the things you might need in your everyday life, please remember that no woman likes to carry around a heavy bag stuffed until the top. For that matter, your bag should include things that are small, compact and multi-use.
We are here today to talk about the 10 things you should always keep in your bag. Despite the size of the bag, some of these items have to be in it, as you could not “survive” a day in reality without them. Let’s get to the interesting part of the article, shall we?
Let’s be real and admit that we left our house many times without tissues in our bag. It is not a big deal until you sneeze and realize you have nothing to wipe your nose with. This is uncomfortable, let alone unsanitary.
Tissues are a multi-use product as you can use them for make-up removal, to dry your hands, wipe your desk etc. Keep a small pack of them with you either in your bag or in your purse.
If you have been in a wait room and receive a phone call or if you have been in the subway and people next to you are loud, a pair of headphones will save your life. You can use them to listen to music, podcasts, and audio books on the go and even block unwanted sounds when you need to concentrate.
Just remember to have a pair of small ones and not the ones that go around your head, as they will take up a lot of space in your bag.
Hand sanitizer or wipes
This is one of the most important thing to keep in your bags ladies. Only if you think about the germs and bacteria that crawl on any surface you touch, you will immediately want to wash your hands. But you won’t always have access to running water and soap.
For that matter, you need to carry a little bottle of hand sanitizer or a pack of sanitizing wipes. This way you can clean your hands whenever you are on the go.
Pads and tampons
We know that you might have been in a situation where you needed a pad, your bag did not contain one, and no one had one to offer you. The least we can say about this situation, is that it sucks. So next time, you have to be prepared.
If you carry around a big handbag, a backpack or a strap bag, you can add a little pouch where you can keep your pads and tampons. This way you will be able to carry it easily in the ladies room whenever you are on your period.
No woman wants to have dry and cracked hands because first of all t does not feel good and secondly it looks bad, especially when you are working with your hands. A small tube of hand cream or even Vaseline will help you have soft hands every day.
Vaseline is a multi-use product as you can use it for over 10 things like preventing blisters, taking your makeup off etc. Next time, remember to throw a small hand cream n your bag!
Who does not get hungry through the day right? A snack that is of course packaged for the purpose of not smearing your bag with it, is the perfect solution. Keep a snack bar, protein bar or a pack of crackers in your bag just in case you will not have time to have lunch.
If you carry a bigger bag like a backpack, try having a water bottle with you so that you will stay hydrated and keep an environmental friendly consciousness as you will not buy another plastic bottle every day.
You never know when you are going to need a band aid. A blister or a cut is the perfect reason for one and that’s why you need to carry some band aids with you. Plus, if you have children you will always need a band aid when you are out
Your business cards
Have you ever been in a situation where an unexpected greeting leads to a business opportunity? If your answer is yes, then you need to carry your business cards with you so that you can give them away in situations like this one.
Breath mints and painkillers
No one likes the bad breath smell. Sometimes you have a meeting or a business appointment right after your lunch break and you really do not have time to freshen up. Of course after every meal, our breath gets smelly. To avoid that, keep a mini pack of breath mints or even gum in your bag. It is on the top list of the 10 things you should always keep in your bag.
As far as the painkillers are concerned, you could keep a tab or two just in case you will get sick while away from home.
USB cable or power bank
Sometimes when you are out of the house, your phone battery dies and you are left without a connection to your family or work. To avoid situations like this one, always keep a USB or data cable in your bag. You will be able to charge your phone in your car or at your office computer.
If your battery dies quite often, a power bank is what you need to carry. There are some small ones out in the market and they can even fit in smaller bags so that you will not worry about carrying a big bulky bag.
